Handwashing
I know that handwashing is a good habit and I'm trying to teach Jay that. But this is getting silly! He loves to crawl into the bathroom and climb up on the stool. I turned the water on but you see he can't reach it.I have to remember to close the door or I find him in there standing in the dark. What a hoot! His pants are too big and are drooping down, yes I know. "pants on the ground"

2nd Birthday Party
Jay turns 2 years old tomorrow (Tues, 8/10). We had a blow out birthday party for him yesterday (Sun, 8/8). We all had so much fun, had so many kids there and the house was quaking with all the commotion. Jay had a great day, as evidenced by the photos in the link provided below.
We are so thankful and grateful for our friends and family and most of all for our Jiamin Ford Manza! We love that doodle bug so much.

Well it's a pretty messy endeavor but here's a funny shot with a fork. He subsidizes the fork by using his hand to help shovel.

Eating with a fork
We've been practicing eating with utensils. Jay's getting the hang of it. The video isn't his best work, guess he knew I was videotaping and didn't want to show off too bad. But you get the idea. He had his first dentist appointment yesterday and that went really well. She wants to see him every 6 months. She said his teeth are very crowded and he'll need spacers when his adult teeth start to come in and then he'll need braces. We figured as much. But she said otherwise his teeth and good, no cavities.
